ALTAMONT — The freshman learning curve was in effect Tuesday for Iola High’s Fillies.
The Iola freshman volleyball team played on the road at Labette County High School. The freshmen lost 25-10, 25-12 to Labette County, 25-15, 25-15 to Parsons and 25-12, 25-9 to Chanute.
“The girls finished with a better understanding of volleyball on the high school level,” said Jeff Fehr, who is in his first season as IHS freshman coach.
Karlie Lower and Mac-kenzie Weseloh led the Fillies in serving.
The freshman Fillies go to Coffeyville to play Chanute, Coffeyville and Fort Scott next Tuesday.
