Humboldt volleyball wrapped up their regular season on Tuesday with mixed results.

The Lady Cubs hosted Fredonia and Leon-Bluestem and went 1-1, breezing past the Hornets in two-sets before falling in a three-set heartbreaker to the Lady Lions.

With the win, Bluestem clinched a share of the Tri-Valley League crown. Humboldt heads into the postseason with a 22-12 overall record and a 4-3 league record.

Versus Bluestem, Humboldt jumped out strong with a 25-20 set one win before allowing a big 25-16 letdown loss in set two.
