MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s volleyball squad picked up a pair of hard-fought victories Thursday.
In A team action, Marmaton Valley beat 25-17 and 26-24 over visiting Yates Center Middle School.
Kloie Snavely’s service game was key in the win, as she led MV with seven points in the first set.
Jazmyn Potter took the baton in the second set, serving up nine points, including seven in a row before Aubrie Heskett earned the final points for the sweep.
Marmaton Valley’s B team won, 25-21 and 25-20.
