The Iola Seahorses and Humboldt Current wrapped up the summer season Saturday with the Current taking fourth as a team while the Seahorses took fifth.
Iola coach Marcia Davis commended her swimmers’ efforts.
“Of the 30 Iola swimmers who participated, 28 achieved personal record times and Iola had a total of 45 personnel records awarded,” Coach Davis said.
Isaac Mentzer nears the finish at Saturday’s league meet in Chanute. Mentzer’s sister, Faith, right, and coach Elza Clift, cheer him on.
