Three area players will play under Crest coach Nick McAnulty this summer for the Kansas Eight-Man Football All-Star game in Beloit.
Marmaton Valley seniors quarterback/defensive back Tyler Lord and receiver/defensive back Todd Stevenson and Crest running back/linebacker Jensen Barker, also a senior, each made the cut to play in the summer contest following successful seasons last fall.

He also racked up more than 1,200 yards rushing, averaging more than 10 yards per carry and 25 touchdowns. Lord also showed up on defense with six interceptions, 45 tackles and 14 solo tackles.

Defensively, Stevenson had 28 tackles,19 solo tackles. He may also return a few kicks and punts at the all-star game with 163 yards on 13 returns with a long of 64.
