The production tells the story of a new teacher anxious for her first day in the classroom, when she’s reminded of how “Schoolhouse Rock,” a popular series of cartoons shown on Saturday mornings in the 1970s and 1980s, helped youngsters learn a number of topics from language arts to American history.

Students from grades 3 and up will share the stage and perform several of the classic tunes, from “Conjunction Junction” to “Interplanet Janet.”

Tickets sell for $5 for adults and $3 for students.
