The project, spearheaded by Iola’s Community Involvement Task Force, with a financial assist from the City of Iola, should be ready for use next spring. Next on the to-do list is for the city to extend water service to the splash park, located in the 900 block of North Cottonwood Street.

The oval pad will sport an assortment of spraying fountains.
