Authorities found a body Sunday, believed to be that of a 12-year-old Erie boy who was struck and killed by a train Wednesday.

A body, believed to be that of a 12-year-old boy struck and killed by a train near Erie Wednesday, has been found.

Neosho County Sheriff Greg Taylor announced Sunday that the body had been found near a dam about two miles south of U.S. 400 in rural Labette County.

Kollin Showalter, 12, Erie, had been missing since Wednesday when authorities said he and Arthur Pollries, 16, Walnut, were struck and killed by a Union Pacific Train on a railroad bridge over the Neosho River just south of Erie.
