Ruby L. Cook, age 89, of Iola, died Monday, April 8, 2019, at Allen County Regional Hospital, Iola. She was born Sept. 10, 1929, north of Fort Scott to Claude Earnest Collins and Louisa Bessie (Sheat) Collins.
She married James Robertson; they divorced. She married Carl Cook in 1959; they divorced.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eugene Cotton Collins; daughter-in-law, Teresa Cook; and great-grandson, Landan Dean Oswald.
Survivors include children, Larry Robertson, Harveyville, Pamela Shrum, Iola, Joe Robertson, Iola, Kelly Robertson, Logansport, Ind., Carla Capper, Iola, Robert Bob Cook, Gettysburg, Penn., Jeff Cook, Iola; and numerous other relatives.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola. Inurnment will follow in Gas Cemetery, Gas.
