PLEASANTON — Sterling individual performances highlighted the evening for Marmaton Valley Junior High’s A teams on the basketball court.
Trevor Wilson poured in 18 points for the boys A team, more than enough to spur the Wildcats to a 40-32 victory over host Pleasanton.
On the girls side, Trinitee Gutierrez erupted for 25 points, including 11 of the Wildcats’ 14 fourth-quarter points. But it was not enough as Pleasanton escaped with a 36-34 victory.
