HS Golf: Iola Mustangs
Iola golf finally had a breakthrough at the Pioneer League meet at Deer Trace Golf Club hosted by Prairie View.
Junior Jeremy Waldman put up the Mustangs first top-three finish of the season after shooting an 84 which was good for third.
Waldman prepared for this meet by working on a slice in his drive and he seemed to have found a solution. His drives were straighter and his scores were getting smaller. However, he probably couldve finished even higher had he not run into other problems with his driver during the meet.
