MORAN — The Kansas Masonic Foundation has partnered with Marmaton Lodge No. 245 to donate $680 to the Marmaton Valley High School Junior Class.

The donation will help support the Marmaton After-Prom Committee. The committee is responsible for providing Marmaton Valley High School students a safe, substance-free environment to gather and celebrate after prom. All donated funds will directly benefit local students and their guests.

“We have donated to their organization in the past and are excited to continue supporting an event that helps provide a safe and comfortable environment for students to celebrate, substance-free,” said James Mueller, Lodge secretary.

Marmaton Lodge No. 245 has a history of making donations to area organizations and events including local 4-H, FFA chapters, and forensics clubs, and the Allen County Fair. They also help with the annual Back-to-School Barbecue and Moran Day activities.
