Those wishing to look for a hidden medallion in the runup to Farm-City Days have until Monday to purchase a button that enables participation in the hunt.
The medallion, in the design of an airplane, will be concealed somewhere in Allen County, on public land.
One clue a day, hinting to the medallions location, will be released in the Register starting Monday as well.
This years prize for finding the medallion is $500.
But even after the hunt, hang on to your buttons because throughout the two-day affair drawings will be held awarding prizes to those with numbers affixed to the back of their buttons.
The buttons sell for $2 apiece and are available at Thrive Allen County, KwiKom, Terry Sparks State Farm, Jumpstart Travel Center in Iola, and the Iola Area Chamber of Commerce
Farm-City Days runs Oct. 12-13.
