Fire investigator Eric Lawrence surveys the charred remnants of a house at 303 S. Monroe St. in LaHarpe Tuesday morning after it was destroyed in an overnight fire. LaHarpe firefighters were called to the scene at about 2 a.m. and remained there for more than six hours. The house was unoccupied, LaHarpe officials noted.
