HUMBOLDT – Saturday’s 68th annual Biblesta celebration was held under conditions best described as heavenly. Hardly a cloud in the sky, temps in the mid-70s, and a packed crowd were all present for Humboldt’s day of dedication to the Lord.
An early morning “Run for the Son” was followed up by various musical performances, but the day’s highlight had to be the early afternoon parade. Jack Ellis, Staci Johnson and Sindi Ellis were this year’s marshalls. Parade floats were judged by Lloyd Houk of Moran, Cody Haviland of Chanute, and Iolan Mary Kay Heard.
