The Allen County Relay For Life, one of the largest local fundraisers for the American Cancer Society, will run Saturday, June 20, at Iola’s Riverside Park.
The event starts at noon with the opening ceremony at the Recreation Community Building, followed by teams walking laps around the gymnasium until 5 p.m.
A survivor dinner runs from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Little Theater, leading up to a survivor and caretaker ceremony, including a survivor lap, at 6 p.m.
Donated items will be acutioned off starting at 6:30 p.m., followed a number of games at 7:30 p.m.
The luminary ceremony runs from 8 to 8:45 p.m., at which time the evening will culminate with music and games. The closing ceremony caps the event at 9:45.
