OVERLAND PARK — The Johnson County Community College Cavaliers celebrated 50 years of soccer at JCCC with an opening game shutout of the Allen Red Devils, who continue playing for their first Jayhawk Conference win.
“The team fought hard, but unfortunately, we fell short,” Allen coach Marcos Shimizu said.
The Red Devils fell to 0-2 in the conference following Saturday’s 7-0 loss to the Lady Cavaliers, who came into Saturday’s game ranked fourth in the NJCAA.
