MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s basketball teams wrapped up the pre-Thanksgiving portion of their schedules Monday with a 3-1 record against Westphalia. IN BOYS A team action, the Wildcats broke open a 19-15 lead with a 15-9 run in the third quarter to push into a double-digit lead, 34-24.
The Wildcat boys won both of their games. The A team prevailed, 44-36, while the B team emerged with a 38-16 victory.
The Wildcat girls lost a 15-14 heartbreaker in the A team contest. The MV girls B team won, 24-20.
