Baseball and softball season is officially over at the Iola Recreation Department.
Thursday night was the final night of games, as Nelson Quarries defeated Allen County Regional Hospital 5-1.
Nelson Quarries pulled ahead to a 3-0 lead after one half-inning of play and never looked back. Zoie Hesses two-run home run helped Nelson Quarriers earn a two run lead, and Hallie Sutherland followed with a single to bring home Elza Clift.
