Humboldt’s Biblesta Parade began in 1955 and continues to be a popular event on the first Saturday of October. This photo depicts the popular entry, The Exodus. Crowd estimates in the early years reached 20,000. Men are perched atop high ladders to assemble the Biblesta sign along Highway 169 at the south entrance to town.
