Allen Community College is one of four venues for a special preview screening of the Ken Burns documentary, “The American Revolution,” which airs on PBS starting on Nov. 16.
The ACC preview will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Allen Student Center.
Tickets are free and can be ordered through Eventbrite.com.
“The American Revolution” is a six-part, 12-hour documentary series directed by Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt, and written by Geoffrey C. Ward.
The series explores how the 13 colonies rose in rebellion, fought for independence and laid the foundation for the new nation.
