Pastor Chase Riebel’s sermon “No Longer Outsiders” was from Ephesians 2:11-22. Christ united the Jews and Gentiles. All believers represent the kingdom and contribute to the body of Christ. You can be a child of God or a slave to sin.
Darren McGhee read from “Come to the Feast” for communion meditation. Breaking bread symbolizes the suffering Jesus went through and the blood represents atonement. We should examine ourselves before we take the bread and wine to make sure Jesus is first in our lives and we are totally committed to Him, otherwise we are eating and drinking judgment upon ourselves.
Brinley McGhee led worship singing “Come,” “Abide,” “This is Amazing Grace” and “Holy Forever.”
