Repairs have been approved for the Delaware Road overpass spanning U.S. 169 south of Humboldt.
PBX Corporation & Subsidiary, Sapulpa, Okla., was awarded the $626,527.57 bid for the repairs, according to a Kansas Department of Transportation press release.
The bridge lies about two miles south of the Hawaii Road turnoff for Humboldt, or about 5 ½ miles north of the Allen-Neosho county line.
That stretch of Delaware Road also is known as Tank Farm Road to locals.
A timeline for the repairs was not announced.
