MELVERN — Marmaton Valley High’s volleyball team had a tough go of it during a jam-packed schedule.

The Wildcats traveled to Marais des Cygnes Valley Monday, where they fell in straight sets, 25-4, 25-4 and 25-9.

Marmaton Valley’s junior varsity squad fell in straight sets, 25-21 and 25-5.

ON SATURDAY, the junior varsity also competed at Humboldt’s JV tournament, taking sixth place, falling 25-22 and 25-20 to Northeast, 25-12 and 25-10 to host Humboldt, 25-15 and 25-18 to Oswego, and 25-19 and 25-22 to Yates Center. They didn’t have much time to rest, either.
