STILLWATER, Okla. — Allen Community College’s Livestock Judging Team traveled to Oklahoma Sept. 11 for a full day of practice at Pfeiffer Angus Farm in Mulhall and the Oklahoma State University Purebred Beef Center in Stillwater.
The team evaluated three classes of heifers at Pfeiffer Angus and 10 classes of bulls, bred heifers and heifer calves at OSU’s Purebred Beef Center.
Students also enjoyed lunch at Eskimo Joe’s, a Stillwater staple, between practices.
“Our team is showing promise and dedication to this team, and I look forward to their debut at the Prof Lidvall Memorial Collegiate Livestock Judging Contest, Cookeville, Tennessee,” said Rhett Taylor, ACC Livestock Judging Coach.
