Dog owners in Moran and LaHarpe will have opportunities to have their animals vaccinated in the coming days.

In Moran, a dog clinic runs from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the back room at Moran City Hall, in conjunction with the Allen County Animal Rescue Facility.

The clinic is open to any Allen County resident, although participants will be asked to provide proof of residency, such as a utility bill, bank statement, vehicle registration or pay stub.

The cost is $30 for annual distemper or annual rabies vaccinations, or $35 for both. Vaccinations for kennel cough and ACARF microchipping services are available for additional fees. Spaying and neutering vouchers also will be distributed.

Attendees are asked to stay in their cars outside until it’s time for the vaccination. All animals must be on a leash.

IN LAHARPE, Lora Holman, a Bronson veterinarian, will be in town April 4 for the city’s annual dog clinic.

The clinic runs from 1 to 3 p.m., with vaccinations offered by appointment only. To reserve a time slot, call (620) 365-5956.

The cost for a three-year rabies vaccination is $42, with DHLPP vaccinations costing $40.

For dogs who have not been vaccinated for rabies previously, the cost is $25, with the vaccine good for one year.

Animal owners should have their dogs on a leash.
