Tri-Valley Developmental Services has added a portable AED to its Iola Service Center to boost safety during off-site outings.

Tri-Valley Developmental Services has announced the purchase of a traveling automated external defibrillator (AED) for its Iola Service Center, aimed at improving safety for participants and staff during off-site outings.

Through a partnership with AEDGrant, Tri-Valley was able to obtain a Phillips HeartStart Defibrillator at a reduced cost. The portable device will allow staff to respond quickly in the event of a cardiac emergency.
