KCC plans hearing for electric line route

The Kansas Corporation Commission will have a three-day line siting hearing for a proposed transmission line project.

The Kansas Corporation Commission will host a line siting hearing for a proposed electric transmission line that is expected to extend through much of Allen County.

The three-day hearing will last from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 2-4, which runs Tuesday through Thursday.

Spectators will be able to watch the proceedings via the Kansas Corporation Commission’s YouTube channel or on Zoom.
